About WASW

Fluoridation of public water supplies denies each individual the right to choose
or reject medication, thus violating medical “informed consent”

Washington Action for Safe Water (WASW) is a non-profit charitable organization registered in Washington state.  WASW is not a 501(c)3 and donations are not tax deductible.  Officers, the Board and Members of WASW are entirely volunteer.

Purpose and Mission Statement:

The mission of Washington Action for Safe Water is to ensure public access to safe drinking water that is free of pollutants, impurities, additives, drugs and medicines and to protect the public and WASW members from unsafe additives and non-consensual, unsafe or ineffective drugs and medicines.

Activities to accomplish this mission include but are not limited to:

  • Educating the public, government agencies, health professionals, environmental groups, and scientific and legal professions to engage them in actions to protect safe drinking water.
  • Acting as a clearinghouse for accurate, credible, scientific and other pertinent safe drinking water information.
  • Educating governments to pass laws for safe drinking water protection and/or challenge governmental actions when they fail to protect the water.
  • Participating in legal actions when necessary to accomplish our purpose.

WASW works closely with Fluoride Action Network (FAN) to keep updated on the most current research involving fluoride and water fluoridation.  We would like to thank FAN and their thousands of followers, including over 4,600 professionals, for their tireless efforts to educate the people and policymakers about the truth—both politically and scientifically—behind the fluoridation myths.
